WHO CAN ENTER:
YOU MUST BE AN NMRA MEMBER TO ENTER AN STD PHOTO OR MODEL CONTEST.

The Contests at a STD event are divided into three classifications.

1. MODELER - your first entry in a classification on a local, regional or national level.

2. CRAFTSMAN - for modeler's who have never placed or been awarded 87.5 points for that type model in local, regional or national contest.

3. MASTER - restricted to those modelers who have placed or been awarded 87.5 points in a local, regional or national contest.

MODEL: Color, and Black & White.
PROTOTYPE: Color and Black & White
SPECIAL SUBJECTS: Color and Black & White.

Photo Contest Notes:
. Special Subjects are Computer manipulated images. "Manipulated images" are defined as those photographs where image editing programs such as Photoshop are employed to create an illusion (for example, inserting the image of the photographer climbing the ladder into the cab of a model locomotive) as opposed to enhancement or correction (increasing saturation, cropping, correcting colors).

. Minimum Print Size is 8"x10" Photo and Mat may not exceed 12"x16".

. Slides will not be accepted.
